Receivership no obstacle to Melanka development

p2166-Melanka-2By ERWIN CHLANDA

The appointing of a receiver to the joint venture company Dabford Pty Ltd in which the project manager of the Melanka complex is a partner will have no impact on the high-rise proposal in Alice Springs.

Dean Osborne, of Osborne Family Holdings, says its role is managing the development for the owners of the land, the Ainsworth Family, of poker machines fame.

He says the Osbornes have no share in the Melanka deal.

Other projects being managed by them are equally unaffected by the receivership of the Dabford.

He says all of Dabford’s suppliers, subcontractors and consultants have been paid in full.
