Song injects life into lights on the hill

The outstanding artistic achievement of Parrtjima 2017 is the song “Apmere Ahelhe Itethe”, which means “All Country Is Alive”.  It brings heart, meaning and life to this light festival, moving it more towards a celebration of Arrernte culture on Arrernte country, even if it remains something of a fairyland version.
