The NT Government’s review of Desert Knowledge is continuing, according to a government spokesman, “looking into the future shape and the various aspects of the Desert Knowledge Precinct.
“It’s important to review all the roles of the precinct and look at the resources available.
“There is currently a rigorous budget process underway in all departments and the government does fund the precinct considerably,” the spokesman says.
Meanwhile Desert Knowledge Australia (DKA) number two staff member, Mike Crowe, has left DKA and is now the head of the Central Australian campus of the Batchelor Institute of Indigenous Tertiary Education.
With DKA he was in charge of the Outback Business Network which has attracted criticism. Mr Crowe did not return several phone calls.
Well, well well – that explains it – talk about jobs for the boys!
