Small town takes lead on solar power

No power for eight hours on hot, humid day

 

Territory Generation's pledge last week to provide "a stable and reliable electricity grid for the Alice Springs region" has a hollow ring after an eight hour blackout yesterday. ERWIN CHLANDA will be seeking answers from TGen, Power Water Corporation and Treasurer Nicole Manison (at right), the NT's electricity system's sole shareholder on behalf of the people of the NT.
