A multi-million dollar scheme for juveniles on bail is believed to be buying suburban homes to accomodate them, but Minister Wakefield (pictured) is not answering questions as residents express concern about the program. ERWIN CHLANDA reports.
UPDATE February 13: Ms Wakefield, department answer questions. "A young person can’t 'escape' or 'abscond' from bail support accommodation. They are able to leave at any time … voluntary departure however may result in the young person breaching their bail conditions.
