Alice students fire up for climate action

 

“As the temperature rises, so will we!” cried the School Strike  for Climate leaders in Alice Springs this morning. Some 200 of their peers filled the lawns outside Flynn Church in the mall, supported by 300 to 400 adults. That is a sizeable turnout for this town and the mood was elated even while the messages were sombre. KIERAN FINNANE reports.
