A police emergency response team is at the scene of a road crash five kilometres north of Barrow Creek road house, say police.
They confirm there are two dead and two people with serious injuries.
The Stuart Highway has been opened but traffic diversions in place around the crash scene, but “expect delays or avoid the area if possible,” say police.
They say due to identification and notification requirements there will be no further information available this evening.
